United Hebrew Congregation will continue to host dual in-person and Zoom services, unless stated otherwise. For your safety and the safety of others, please wear a mask when you attend services and events at United Hebrew Congregation of Joplin.

We are delighted to offer weekly Shabbat services, every Friday at 7:30 PM. Please join us!

Classes

Our adult education classes are currently in session. The classes are typically held a couple of times per month, but watch the calendar for exact dates and times. Please contact us for more information.

While there are many days that hold great meaning for me, December 28, 2015 stands out. On that day, I arrived at the Interior Ministry in Jerusalem, signed several forms, and left gripping my blue teudat zehut (identity card). I was officially a citizen of the State of Israel.
